How I work

I describe myself as a systemic therapist. This means that I work in an empathic and collaborative way, taking into account the contexts within which you live, such as your relationships, family, working environment, school or educational setting.

I attend to how these contexts inform your way of thinking about yourself and how they shape your life. Working collaboratively, I recognise that you are the true expert of your life and see my role as an expert of the therapeutic process.

My aim is to use my therapeutic skills to create a compassionate and confidential space in which you can safely explore and work through present difficulties.

By combining our expertise, we can work together to uncover unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviours. We will discover strengths, develop capacities and identify supports and resources so that you can live with greater ease in the present.
